Quarry Presentation Scheduled for Monday, Nov 16th
Due to Veterans Day falling on the second Wednesday of November, the Borough Council Meeting was moved to Monday, November 16th. At this meeting, Tilcon will be giving an informative presentation about their operations and the efforts they will be making to address the quality-of-life concerns voiced by residents at the previous licensing hearings.
In addition to Tilcon’s Management Team, Vibra-Tech, their independent vibration monitoring and consulting service, will be on hand to provide insight into the technology and practices for recording seismic data during blasting events.
The presentation will be followed by an Q & A session for both the Council and residents. The Riverdale Quarry Committee is encouraging all residents of Riverdale to attend.
